Cllr Harris sits on the following committees: Estates & Properties, Planning & Economic Development and Library, Arts, Business & Information
Cllr Harris moved to Launceston from Bude with his wife Barbara in 1982 and has two children. He has worked in the social housing sector for many years, sat on the board of Cornwall Housing Ltd from its creation in 2012 until April 2021 and retains an active interest in social housing, especially housing law, complaint appeals tribunals and tenant liaison. His biggest interest is art, both as a painter/sculptor and art history.
Cllr Harris is a School Governor for Windmill Hill Academy and represents Launceston Town Council within; CALC (Cornwall Association of Local Councils) and Launceston Street Pastors .
Cllr Harris joined Launceston Town Council in 2008.
